The Blazer EV brings eco-friendly performance to every ride, with an electric propulsion system that helps your SUV outperform the competition. Get a closer look at five of the most impressive features of the new 2025 Chevy Blazer EV.

2025 Chevy Blazer EV

1. Electric Propulsion System

The Blazer EV runs on an electric propulsion system that offers 220 horsepower and 243 lb-ft of torque with an EPA-estimated 312-mile range. Other innovative features include electric power steering, an 11.5 kW-capable onboard charging module, and electronic precision shift.

2. Chevy Safety Assist

Chevy Safety Assist uses six driver-assistance functions to prevent common causes of accidents, like drifting out of your designated lane or following another vehicle too closely. Chevy Safety Assist includes the following features:

  • Forward collision alert
  • Following distance indicator
  • Automatic emergency braking
  • Front pedestrian braking
  • IntelliBeam automatic high beams
  • Lane keep assist with lane departure warning

These functions combine radar technology with digital cameras to consistently surveil your surroundings. When a dangerous situation arises, Chevy Safety Assist uses various alerts to urge you to take corrective action. If you fail to take action or cannot do so, Chevy Safety Assist activates your hard braking.

3. 17.7-Inch LCD Display with Google Built-In Compatibility

The 2025 Blazer EV has a 17.7-inch LCD infotainment display with several convenient features, like SiriusXM radio. SiriusXM satellite radio offers hundreds of interesting entertainment options, including music channels, live sports coverage, and international news reporting. The Blazer EV’s infotainment display also has Google built-in compatibility, bringing Maps, Assistant, and Play to your cabin.

The main feature of the Blazer EV’s infotainment display is wireless smartphone integration. Using Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, you can pair a phone to the Blazer EV and upload all of your contacts to the infotainment display. From there, you can use voice recognition to make phone calls or send text messages while keeping your eyes on the road.

4. Traffic Sign Recognition

Traffic sign recognition is an innovative assistive function in the 2025 Blazer EV. This function uses a camera to look at signs in your path, specifically detecting speed limit signs and displaying them on your instrument cluster. If you’re surpassing the detected speed limit, traffic sign recognition chimes to alert you.

5. Available AutoSense Power Liftgate

The new Blazer EV has an available AutoSense power liftgate that allows you to open the cargo area when your hands are full. The AutoSense liftgate can open on its own whenever an affiliated key fob is detected near the rear of the vehicle for longer than three seconds. The AutoSense power liftgate comes standard on the Blazer EV RS and all higher trims.
